Historic Saranac Lake Executive Director Amy Catania speaks to fourth- and fifth-grade students at Petrova Elementary School Wednesday about local history projects they’ve been working on this year. In the fall, the fourth-grade students performed their own local history skits at HSL’s Saranac Laboratory Museum while the fifth-graders toured historical sites around the community. The students later created historical posters and brochures that they shared with each other during Wednesday’s assembly.
