To the editor:
Your state representatives were right to represent their constituents, but it's just as well the new gun-control legislation passed. I'm planning to visit the Adirondacks this summer; it's hard to imagine any upstate wildlife (or even any here in Detroit) that a responsible and well-trained gun owner would need an automatic weapon to kill. If there are any, I'll skip the visit.
