SARANAC LAKE - Beulah M. Branch, 85, of 45 Main St., Bloomingdale, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at her home.
Born in Tupper Lake on May 31, 1927, she was the daughter of Dominic and Yvonne (LaMay) Therault. She married George Branch on March 15, 1961, at St. Bernard's Church in Saranac Lake. He predeceased her on June 22, 1995.
Mrs. Branch had been a waitress and had worked at the Lakeview Deli and various hotels and private homes.
She is survived by five sons: Roger Fletcher of Tupper Lake, Stephen Fletcher and his wife Cindy of Liverpool, Roland Fletcher and his wife Gina of Winterville, Randy Branch and his wife Debbie of Gabriels, and Spencer Branch and his wife Kimberly of Bloomingdale; four daughters: Linda Fletcher of Tupper Lake, Cheryl Villamagna and her husband Robert of Steubenville, Ohio, Mary Rae of Saranac Lake, and Stella Magusiak and her husband Dana of Springfield, Va.,; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, one son, Richard Fletcher and one grandson, Jody Walker.
Calling hours will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at St. Bernard's Church, with the Rev. Paul Kelly officiating. Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery in May.
