Dave Hay poses inside his new shop, Lake Placid Hockey Depot, which opened a little more than a month ago at 2663 Main St. (across from the Olympic Speedskating Oval) in Lake Placid. It’s a full-service hockey store, offering loads of equipment and what Hay describes as the latest in skate-sharpening technology, the Blackstone Flat Bottom V system.
