Skiers and snowboarders ride up the T-bar at Mount Pisgah Ski Center in Saranac Lake during the mountain’s first day of the ski season Thursday. Pisgah benefited from a winter storm that dumped at least a foot of snow on the region Wednesday night through early this morning. The snow kept plow crews busy and triggered a handful of car crashes on Tri-Lakes area roadways, none of which were serious.
