Don’t demean police officers

December 20, 2012
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

To the editor:

As a proud parent of a police officer, and as a thankful citizen, I am personally offended by George Bryjak's constant and continuing demeaning of our peace officers. I offer free advice for George from from my mother: "If you cannot say something good about a person, then remain silent"

For his sake, I pray that he will never need their help. However, knowing their character, I know that they will defend and protect him, and others, regardless of if they feel as he does.

To George I say, "If you will not stand behind our officers, please feel free to stand in front of them!"

To others who share my feelings, please remember our officers in your prayers and thank them for their service.

Merry Christmas, and God bless them.
