The Frances L. Carpenter Foundation has awarded a $3,000 grant to the Community Lunchbox (an ecumenical lunch program in Saranac Lake) to use toward its program of providing free meals and friendly fellowship to our community members.
The Carpenter Foundation has generously supported the efforts of the Lunchbox program for the past 12 years. This financial aid assists the Lunchbox in purchasing the necessary items of food for the meals which are prepared and served by volunteers every Monday and Thursday (except holidays) from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Parish Hall at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
