SARANAC LAKE - BluSeed Studios will host an evening of homegrown music on Dec. 2 to raise funds to support the youth-centered environmental group 350.org.
The event, which runs from 7 to 9 p.m., is designed to raise awareness of climate change, support alternative energy sources and encourage financial divestment from the fossil fuel industry.
The lineup will feature local youth musicians, information on divestment, alternative energy and local climate change, and some low-carbon munchies. A raffle with surprise gift items will also be held to raise funds for the cause.
A suggested donation of $3.50 will be accepted at the door.
