Schoharie woman charged with assault at 'college party'

RAY BROOK - An Albany area woman has been charged in connection with an assault that allegedly took place at a party in Onchiota late last week.

Ray Brook-based state police charged Brianna K. McCormack, 19, of Schoharie, with third-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor, at 7:35 p.m. Sunday. Police said the assault took place at what they described as a "college party" in Onchiota.

McCormack allegedly punched a female, police said.

McCormack is scheduled to appear in Franklin town court on Thursday.
