Man dies when pickup truck crashes on curve in Saranac

SARANAC (AP) - A northern New York man is dead after his pickup truck skidded off an Adirondack road on a curve, crashed into trees and flipped over.

The Press-Republican of Plattsburgh reports ( ) that 24-year-old Corey Bulriss of Schuyler Falls was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram on Ore Bed Road in the town of Saranac when the accident happened Friday night.

State police say Bulriss was thrown from the driver's side window and was pinned under the front tire of the truck. A passer-by reported the accident shortly before 10 p.m. when he saw the skid marks and debris on the road.

The accident remains under investigation. Police said they do not believe Bulriss was wearing a seat belt.
