TUPPER LAKE - The planning board passed two private subdivision projects with little comment Wednesday night.
The Amerman family's subdivision will break a lot on Whistler's Cove on Big Tupper Lake into one 6.24-acre lot and one 11.32-acre lot.
Planning board member Jim Ellis asked if either of those lots would be substandard according to the local codes. Town Planner Paul O'Leary said they wouldn't.
The Keniston family's subdivision at the end of Washington Street will create one 6.2-acre lot, one that's 36.12 acres and another that's 4.15 acres.
There were no comments on the Keniston subdivision.
No members of the public, besides the press, showed up to either hearing.
The planning board passed both subdivision requests unanimously.
At the beginning of the meeting, planning board member Ben Peets, who ran the meeting in Chairman Jim Larkin's absence, welcomed Shawn Stuart to the board. Stuart joined the board this month after Bob Fuller stepped down from the board last month to avoid conflict of interest issues with the proposed Adirondack Club and Resort project due to his work on the project for the village water and wastewater department.
