To the editor:
After reading Mark Moeller's letter yesterday and then the response from Protect the Adirondacks, attacking Mark's view, I am now more convinced than ever that Protect is nothing more than a socialist group that would have every working resident of the Adirondack Park be relocated, much like the the Native Americans were in the 1800s in one of the saddest chapters of American history. This can't be denied; the only difference is that they aren't offering us a place to go. Our Trail of Tears will be small towns drying up and fading away. It's sad.
That said, I would challenge any member of Protect or the Sierra Club to a public debate. It'd be nice to see the faces and reasoning of those that would have us leave our hometowns.
