Lake Placid boys soccer holds on for victory

PLATTSBURGH - The Lake Placid boys soccer team scored early and held on for a 1-0 Northern Soccer League victory over Seton Catholic on Tuesday.

Ryan Meyer scored the game's only goal 9:38 into the first half by burying a direct kick from just outside of the box. Lake Placid goalkeeper Chris Kordziel pitched a shutout from there, making 12 saves in the contest.

Seton Catholic outshot Lake Placid 12-8.
