SARANAC LAKE - Starting this Saturday, Oct. 6, the Adirondack Carousel will begin hosting Milk and Cookies Saturdays. The first series will feature the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge & Rehabilitation Center, based in Wilmington, which will present live animal presentations at 11 a.m.
The schedule of animals is as follows:
-Oct. 6: Birds, with a raptor

-Oct. 20: Snakes and snapping turtles, with a boa constrictor
-Nov. 10: Red fox, with a fox named Pippen
