KEENE VALLEY - East Branch Friends of the Arts presents pianist Charles Fisk in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Keene Valley Congregational Church.
The suggested donation is $10; students are free.
Since 2004, he has performed for East Branch Friends of the Arts every fall. This year his program will consist entirely of music by J.S. Bach, devoted primarily to and concluding with his "Goldberg" variations. In the first half, Fisk will play the Prelude and Fugue in G minor from Book II of "The Well-Tempered Clavier," a transcription by Ferruccio Busoni of the organ chorale prelude Nun komm der Heiden Heiland and a transcription by Mary Howe of the aria "Sheep May Safely Graze."
