Lake Placid junior Erin Weaver heads the ball during Saturday’s Northern Soccer League game in Saranac. The Chiefs won the match 1-0 after scoring the game-winning goal with 23 seconds remaining. Lake Placid goalie Liz Leff stopped 12 shots as the Blue Bombers were outshot 19-6. The Lake Placid boys lost their game 1-0 in overtime to Saranac.
