SARANAC LAKE - The Common Ground Garden, a community garden in Saranac Lake, is looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:
-Updating and maintaining its website
-Designing a card rack brochure
-Planning a spring workshop and fundraiser
Having a table at community events during the fall and winter
-Building picnic tables for the two garden locations.
Common Ground Garden organizers are also happy to receive volunteer help in maintaining the gardens. They are planning a fall work day in October which will include preparing beds for spring planting, building compost piles and sharing a potluck with other gardeners.
