I applaud the Lake Placid Hall of Fame Committee for choosing one person in particular for this year's membership in the prestigious Lake Placid Hall of Fame.
Shirley Hosler is more than deserving of this honor.
Her good deeds go back many years. She has never shirked her self-appointed responsibilities.
In addition to her caring work with the nursing homes and the military, she has clothed and fed many a needy youngster, another little-known fact.
This woman's devotion to mankind is endless.
I'm proud to consider myself an admirer and a fellow Lake Placid Hall of Famer.
