Catillaz looking for ways to solve town problems

September 18, 2012
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

To the editor:

I am writing to ask the voters of Harrietstown to support Tom Catillaz for Harrietstown supervisor.

I don't have to say that Tom is a native and has held positions in our village government, both as a trustee and mayor, numerous times over many years. But what is important to note is that Tom is already looking at ways to solve our town problems that have become thorns in our tax base over the past few years. Our airport has been running at a $300,000-plus deficit, and you have been paying that burden. The town has pumped major bucks into the 100-acre Lake Clear business park, but it remains virtually empty after two decades. The town and the village just can't seem to cooperate on anything. Tom, with all his knowledge about how the village works, could be the spark plug to get this stalled engine working.

Hey, I don't agree with Tom on everything, but he's the right man at the right time for the position of Harrietstown supervisor.

Thank you,

Jon Vinograd
