Polls are open from noon to 9 p.m. today for the primary election.

Republican voters in New York's new 115th Assembly District, which includes all of Franklin and Clinton counties and four towns in St. Lawrence County, have three choices: incumbent Janet Duprey of Peru, Plattsburgh educator Karen Bisso and Cadyville businessman David Kimmel.

Registered Republicans in the town of Jay can choose between Tina L. Preston and Jessie McDonald for town tax collector.
