LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Center for the Arts announces a "Heads Up and Call for Artists."
The annual Adirondack Juried Art Show: A Showcase of Regional Artists, will be on display from Sept. 14 through Oct. 20. Artists are invited to drop off up to two works this week through Saturday, Sept. 8, from 1 to 5 p.m. A $20 non-refundable entry fee does apply.
There will be an Opening Reception and Awards Presentation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 14.
The Juried Show is open to artists of all media including photography, sculpture, painting, drawing, fiber, ceramics, woodcrafts, jewelry, prints and constructions. Approximately $1,000 in cash and gift certificates will be awarded.
