Adirondack Daily Enterprise

LONG LAKE - The Fourth Annual Long Lake Labor Day Chicken Barbecue will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion in Long Lake.

The Chicken BBQ will benefit the Long Lake Fire Department.

For the fourth live music will be by The Fulton Chain Gang.

2012 introduces the audience to Blaine Holcomb, a new lead singer for the veteran country band. Holcomb is no stranger to the stage, he has been performing since he was 13 years old.

With Holcomb at the helm, the Fulton Chain Gang will maintain its southern country-rock roots and adds a modern country twist to the old classics.

The "Gang" has shared the stage with a Who's Who of national acts. Billy Currington, Easton Corbin, Josh Thompson, Joe Diffie, Rodney Atkins, Sammy Kershaw, Tracy Lawrence, and Toby Keith.

Weather depending, event goers will also be treated to a fireworks display at dusk. Fireworks can be seen from the Long Lake Town Beach or from Mt. Sabattis Pavilion.

Mt. Sabattis Pavilion entrance can be found by GPS 1100 Deerland Road.

Food served until they run out. To-go's are available.
