Downtown T-shirts

Village of Saranac Lake Mayor Clyde Rabideau, left, and Trustee Barbara Rice show off their new “Downtown Saranac Lake” T-shirts. at Monday night’s village board meeting. The village is encouraging local merchants to purchase the shirts for $15 and wear them as part of the village’s Downtown Saranac Lake initiative, an effort to promote downtown businesses and attractions. This Friday, the group is planning sidewalk sales downtown and will be showing “The Wizard of Oz” at 9 p.m. in Berkeley Green. The funds will be used to support other downtown events.
