To the editor:
Having followed the case against Mr. Scaringe, I am extremely distressed to find that an active judge would defend publicly the defendant.
I have no qualms with them being friends, but I strongly feel that the judge should have recused himself from defense testimony.
This is an awful situation and no one wins. In this case however, it seems that an awful lot of people have been hurt by Mr. Scaringe's alleged actions.
