To the editor:
The Joyeuse family wishes to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to those in the community for the many words of sympathy and prayers for Rene and our family, and for all selfless acts of assistance, support and kindness shown to Rene and our family.
The outstanding support received/provided to Rene and our family proves that Saranac Lake/Lake Placid is truly a warm, caring and gracious community.
To quote General William J. Donovan's words stated to Rene, "As long as we had Sussex Teams ahead of us, it was like we had a brightly lit path but beyond it was like advancing into a dark tunnel."
