Thanks from 5th annual Sale of ALL Sales
To the editor:
Ralph the dog and clowns were a big draw at the fifth annual Sale of ALL Sales. This sale could not take place without the donations from family, friends and the community. We were happy to present a check to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society in the amount of $2,420 this year in memory of our son Kyle, who was a avid pet lover.
We would like to thank the following businesses that donated items for the cat and dog raffle baskets: Price Chopper, Kinney Drugs in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, Grand Union on Church Street, High Peaks Animal Hospital, Jake Placid Doghouse, Hannaford, High Peaks Cupcakes (Lynn Murphy and Jemell Ellis-Branch), Aubuchon Hardware in Lake Placid, Mrs. Kenyon for a beautiful handmade necklace, Mr. Butler for the location and Slugger Moody for letting us use his shed for storage.
This year's winners of the dog basket were Jessica Deeb, Tammy Patnode, Susan Crowningshield, Diane Santana and Danielle Klingbil. For the cat basket the winners were Chris Fransen and Carol Prevost, and the handmade necklace winner was Linda Hill. A big thank-you goes to our clowns, Maria DeAngelo and Scott Eichholz, for face paintings and balloons at the sale.
Thank you to everyone who came to the sale to find that "treasure" you needed and for buying raffle tickets. See you next year.
