Officers for the local search-and-rescue team, Search and Rescue of the Northern Adirondacks (SARNAK), were re-elected to their positions at the March meeting. Pictured in the front row from left are Ann MacBride, search manager, and Scott Tooker, secretary. In the back row are Wayne LaPierre Jr., training officer; Barry Brogan, treasurer; and Frank Schmidt, team coordinator. SARNAK is an all-volunteer organization that works under the call-out status of the state Department of Environmental Conservation forest rangers and the NYSAR Federation.
