LAKE PLACID - Adworkshop won three awards for outstanding advertising creativity at the Albany Ad Club's primiere ADDY Awards.
The ceremony was held on March 16 at The Hilton Garden Inn in Troy.
For 38 years, the club has held its own competition called the "NORI Awards." This is the first year the Albany club has participated in the ADDYs. Advertising agencies from northern New York and throughout the Capital District submitted entries in various online and print media categories.
The winning work will go on to compete in regional and national finals against more than 200 American Advertising Federation (AAF) affiliates.
Adworkshop won three awards for its work this year:
-Lake Placid CVB/Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism, Mobile Website
-Greene County Economic Development, Tourism and Planning, Great Northern Catskills website
-Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Physical Therapy/Activities of Daily Living Newspaper, Fractional Page, Color Advertisement
Adworkshop was a finalist for more than eight other pieces of its work, including:
