Turner chosen as assistant principal

Tim Turner, a graduate of Saranac Lake Central School District, was recently chosen as the assistant principal of the kindergarten through eighth grade building at the Isaac Chauncey school in Glendale.

He was previously the dean of students and now supervises grades five through eight. He is under the direct supervision of the school's principal, Anthony Pranzo.

Turner received his bachelor's degree from SUNY?Cortland and his master's degree from SUNY?Potsdam.

After receiving his teaching position at Issac Chauncey in 2005, he took classes from the College of St. Rose, where he received his certification in school building leader and in school district leader.

He lives in Whitestone with his wife Tricia and daughter Riley.

His father Frank and brother Eric live in Saranac Lake.
