The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) offers educational programs at its three properties and at off-site locations. ADK owns two facilities in the Lake Placid area: the Heart Lake property at the Adirondak Loj and Johns Brook Lodge (accessible by foot only from the Garden trailhead in Keene Valley, a 3.5-mile hike). ADK's headquarters is in Lake George.
