To the editor:
When the liberal Democrats insist that "The Rich" pay their "fair share," they pose as repo men who can "take back" the country because the capitalists are behind in their payments. The pit in this pie is that the liberals never owned America in the first place, so they can only "take it back" by returning it to the stone age.
Millions of Americans who have never worked are living on a "trust fund" established by 200 years of hard labor and sacrifice by Americans who did. This aquifer will run dry, the rich will be bled white, and all the fools will wander in the wasteland they have made.
The hungry can't eat "hope" or the exposed find shelter under "change." The loons of the new left believe that American society is so corrupt that if you just destroy it, something better will simply spring up in its place. How? Somehow - and all the inequities of life will merely wither away. Now where have I heard that before?
