TUPPER LAKE - Anna Grace Mack, 74, of Tupper Lake, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at her home on Woodlands Drive.

Born on April 12, 1937, in Hogansburg, she was the daughter of James and Sophie (Patterson) Mack. Anna moved to Sunmount DDSO in 1965 and later to the Adirondack Arc.

Anna served on the board of directors at the Arc and various workshops. She was a member of the Natural History Museum, Loyal Order of the Moose and the Adirondack Adult Center.

She attended services at St. Alphonsus Church and the Tupper Lake Christian Center.

Anna enjoyed bowling, belonging to the ladies league.

She was active in the Tupper Lake community, volunteering at the food pantry, Family Champions and AMC-Mercy Living Center.

Anna loved going to the casino and playing slots. She was a breast cancer survivor and will be sadly missed by the many friends that loved her.

She is survived by one sister, Bertha Harvey.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Austin.

Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 18, followed by a funeral service at noon at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in May.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider High Peaks Hospice in care of the funeral home.
