KEENE - The Mountain Health Center will reopen to patients on Monday after being forced to close as a result of flood-related damage from Tropical Storm Irene.
Adirondack Health staff from several departments collaborated with private contractors to restore services at the health center, the basement of which sustained significant water damage from flooding.
"With so many residents in our community still recovering from the flooding, it is important that key community services, such as health care, be available for people when the need arises," said Joe Riccio, communications director for Adirondack Health.
The health center has already scheduled appointments and will be open to patients Monday morning.
