George "Chip" and Cathy Button of Lake Clear are the proud owners of a 1914 Model "T" Depot Hack which has won many prizes at various auto shows. Now the "T" has an invitation to go to the City Hall Plaza in Boston, Mass. on Oct. 1 to join the Cruisin' New England magazine auto show.

Chip will need to rent a trailer to haul the "T" to Boston. We are trying to get donations to help them go to this car show. Either see Chip or Cathy or mail a check (made out to Chip Button) or cash to P.O. Box 277, Lake Clear, NY 12945. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Chip and Cathy Button will be taking the "T" to Curtis Lumber parking lot every Tuesday for the Tri-Lakes Cruizers car show. That starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs until dark. The drivers of these vintage, classic and custom cars are very interesting to talk to.

Ed Hoyt called recently to tell me that his mother, Ruth Hoyt, is still at Uihlein in Room 301. She so looks forward to people's visits or even a card.

Gould Hoyt is recovering from his surgery and could use a friendly hello or a card. It might be nice for them to receive an anniversary card for their 63rd special day as you will notice in this column.

Ed Hoyt still is having back problems and could use some encouragement for his recovery.
