Sears parking lot half-blocked off

July 1, 2010
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
Luke Arnold, left, and Patrick Savoir, of Arnold Pre-Cast of Malone, install concrete barriers to block off the St. Bernard Street entrance to the Sears parking lot this morning. The other barriers on the flatbed truck are to be used to block the Academy Street entrance. The lot is open to the public for another week, when the owners say they plan to gate off the Main Street entrance and hire a parking attendant to ensure only customers to businesses in the Sears building use the lot. The gate has not been purchased yet, co-owner Larry Mullen said Thursday.
