The Adirondack Presbyterian Church will hold their joint worship service for the rest of November at the Lake Clear church. Worship service will start at 10:45 a.m. with coffee hour to follow. Everyone is welcome to attend.

St. John in the Wilderness Church will hold their Mass at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Sunday. Gabriels Assumption church will hold their Mass at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The bookmobile will be at the Lake Clear post office parking lot on Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Stop and pick up some good reading material for the long days to come.

All the library patrons in the Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System have some new databases for do-it-yourselfers: Home Improvement Reference Center, Auto Repair Reference Center and Small Engine Repair Reference Center. The databases were first used in October and have proven very popular so far. They can be searched from CEF Databases page:, where patrons can use a library card number to log in, or from the individual library pages on the CEF Web site, or the databases from inside the Plattsburgh Public Library. You can download and print out what you want or need. Some useful help for library patrons.
