TUPPER LAKE - James and Susan Bombard and Carrie and Richard Riley, of
Tupper Lake, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Michelle Bombard, to Eric Thomas Proulx, son of Thomas and Connie Proulx, also of Tupper Lake.
The couple became engaged on August 5, 2008.

Brittany is a graduate of Tupper Lake High School and the SUNY Institute of Technology in Utica, where she earned a bachelor's degree in communications. The bride-to-be is employed as a news editor for the Adirondack Daily Enterprise in Saranac Lake.
Eric is a graduate of Tupper Lake High School and is currently employed by the Tupper Lake Police Department holding the rank of sergeant.
An October 10, 2010 wedding date has been set.
