Has it been just me? or has anyone else noted the significant difference in coverage over the Boston bombing situation?! I usually like to rely upon the CNN news for events like this. However, CNN has been absolutely TERRIBLE throughout this week. They have falsely reported so many peices of information. NBC news has actually been pretty good and give Lester Holt a TON of praise for getting right in there. Don't usually comment on the plethora of news reporting, but have to say: "CNN" was terrible!!!!!!!

Lastly, for now; Watching the two hour long parade of Law Enforcement Agencies leaving the Watertown and Greater Boston region late last night was awesome and emotional as public display's of gratitude was abundant!!! I also commend their efforts!!!! next post please:

Now, HOW did such a coaborative effort MISJUDGE the whereabouts of this terrorist? They spent ALL DAY searching their intelligence information and established a "Perimeter". Not to be too negative folks, but they MISSED their perimeter by a couple blocks!!! The REAL HERO is that family that recognized a difference with their boat....and had the balls to call in!!!!! Give them a PARADE!!!! Congratulations on the Massive effort to the multitude of enforcement agencies involved, but you messed up on the final cooridinates and need to give final credit where due.

Please get your facts straight. Only Town of North Elba residents (not village) who used 2000 square feet of water or more owe back fees for usage. It is NOT every taxpayer; far from it.

A comment on the future of Sunmount. If Sumount closes, which there are about 1,500 jobs that would either move or be eliminated, the effect on the North Country would snowball, and effectively eliminate close to 5,000 jobs, due to the loss of economic activity. If that happens, be prepared to close Tupper Lake and half of Saranac Lake. PLus a ton of jobs in Malone, Plattsburgh and Massena would be affected. Be careful in what you wish for.
