A half-step forward

March 25, 2013

It was good news that a judge dismissed a motion to delay the Adirondack Club and Resort lawsuit further so the plaintiffs could gather more evidence....

Dearest Mr. Bauer, You remind of Rick who made it to Casablanca for the waters. This whole lawsuit, your whole life's work of protecting the environment---it's all for naught. As you escape the Nazi's as you flee from Paris to Casablanca you succeed in your goal to stay alive, but if you ever reach that desert where the ACR is destroyed you're going to realize this: You fought hard, you fought well, you outsmarted your opponent and you won. However, you'll realize your opponent is not Tom or Mike---its the dwindling 5,000 residents of Tupper whose livelihood you could have saved if instead of 'nature' you put humans at the top of your protect list. It's sad Peter and I wish you could just drop it all. Drop that ego, drop that drive to do 'the right thing', drop that desire to keep getting your funding as you prove to your donors that you're fighting the good fight. When humans aren't being protected, it's not a good fight to fight. Your most humble servant, Publeus

Now, here is a question: How many posters on here, (and you can raise your hands) are members of; 1. The Sierra Club, 2. Environmental Advocates of New York, 3. Adirondack Mountain Club, 4. Adirondack Nature Conservancy, 5. Residents' Committee to Protect the Adirondacks. If you raised your hand, and stated as such here in a replay, then your advocacy is tantamount to the enslavement of the good working people of the Adirondack Compound.

Before I respond, trust me, I am an ACR SUPPORTER, 100%%%%%! Now reality, this 1/2 step forward is not even that. Because ONE TINY part of the suit was NOT Dismissed, another whole part of discovery can be further questioned and/or appealed. Don't jump too quick folks, 1/2 step or PCrawling!

It is time to move on getting this badly needed work completed. Lets get Tupper Lake back in business again. NO thanks to any leftist group for business building. The Sierra club does nothing worth creating jobs or building businesses, just to destroy and create a following with mis-information and create an atmosphere of destructive practices designed to keep business down in the gutter, thereby promoting welfare and depression in areas like ours.

Ironically, the only reason the Ninja filming is going on here is because the ski area was closed this season. Thanks to Protect et. al.
