SARANAC LAKE — After winning just three games a year ago, the Saranac Lake boys soccer team will be looking to knock off a few more opponents this season. The Red Storm heads into Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action with a 17-player roster that features 10 seniors, and those experienced players are the ones third-year head coach Bill Wilson will be relying on for improvement. “We will have strength in senior depth,” Wilson said. “Our returning seniors will lead our team to more victories this season.” In addition to providing leadership, Wilson said his veterans will also help the Red Storm be a more versatile team this fall. “We have the ability to move players around to different positions to help where they are needed.” Three returning seniors — Jake Vuolo, Mike Brewer and Dylan Tubertini — will serve as the Red Storm’s captains this season.
