LAKE PLACID — The third time proved to be the charm for Tereza Macel, and a first visit to the Adirondacks was just as rewarding for Maik Twelsiek, as the pair captured victories in the women’s and men’s pro divisions in Sunday’s Ford Ironman Lake Placid Triathlon.
