Unlike some resort areas, Inlet is a four-season destination. Once the winter snows have melted and the snowmobilers, cross-country skiers, snowshoers, and ice fishermen have departed, residents and business people take a deep breath and start preparing for the next influx of visitors who are looking for fun, entertainment and relaxation. Situated at the head of 4th Lake of the Fulton Chain of Lakes, Inlet has some of the most beautiful scenery in the Adirondacks. And Arrowhead Park, located right in the center of town, is a place to enjoy the breathtaking vista of water, mountains, and sky at any time of day, but especially at sunset. Arrowhead Park also has tennis courts, a baseball field, a sandy beach with lifeguards, picnic facilities and a boardwalk. It is one of two parks located in Inlet. A short distance up the South Shore Road is Fern Park which also includes a ball field and is the starting point of a network of hiking and mt. biking trails.
