Local churches holding raffles
The Adirondack Presbyterian Church will hold their worship services at the St. Regis Church at 9 a.m. and at the Lake Clear Church at 10:45 a.m. for the month of August. Coffee hour to follow each worship service. All are welcome to attend. The second benefit spaghetti supper will be held at the Lake Clear Presbyterian church hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. The meal will be salad, spaghetti with sauce, garlic bread, dessert and beverage. Cost: adult $10, children $7, under 5 free. Pay at the door. The Trading Post will provide their delicious, sweet italian sausage. The Adirondack Presbyterian Church is raffling off three face cords of firewood, cut, split and delivered locally. Tickets are one for $1 or six for $5. Any church member has them to sell, or call 891-5638 to request some. The drawing will be September 7.
