Big doe, buck contest at Lake Clear General Store
The Adirondack Presbyterian Church of Lake Clear and St. Regis will hold its Sunday worship services for the month of October at the Lake Clear church. Worship service starts at 10:45 a.m. Coffee hour will follow the service. All are welcome to attend. St. John in the Wilderness Church will hold its Mass at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Gabriels Assumption Church has Mass schelduled for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. St Pauls in Bloomingdale has an Anticipated Mass at 4 p.m. Saturday. All are invited to attend any of the above services. St. John in the Wilderness will have a card party in the church hall on the third Sunday in October at 1 p.m. There will be prizes and refreshments. Bring a friend and have an enjoyable afternoon playing cards with your neighbors. === Attention, all big game hunters in the area. Lake Clear General Store is sponsoring a big doe and buck contest. This will include archery, muzzle and rifle categories; cost will be $5 each

Charlie’s Inn reopening a success
St. John in the Wilderness Church will hold their Mass at Fish Creek campsite at 8 a.m. on Sunday for the rest of August. In case of rain, it will be moved back to St. John in the Wilderness Church for 8:15 a.m. Mass.
