Saranac Lake Boys Soccer: Senior-laden Red Storm eyes CVAC title

SARANAC LAKE - With 10 seniors listed on its roster, and under the direction of first-year coach Bill Wilson, the Saranac Lake boys soccer program is setting its sites on making a run at its first-ever Cham-plain Valley Athletic Confer-ence title. "Hard work will be the key to our success," said Wilson at a recent practice session at Schroeter's Field. "The kids have been working hard with no complaints and since day one have displayed the type of attitude needed to promote success." Leading the core of senior athletes will be center midfielder Like Neill, who will be counted on heavily to control the flow of the game in the middle of the pitch and provide leadership to a hungry Red Storm squad. "Luke is the key to the team," Wilson praised. "The team chose him as its leader and everyone has been looking up to him. I'm also expecting big things from Austin Pacharz.
