No news on the IDA front

In case anyone is wondering, nothing is going on with the Franklin County IDA and the ACR right now.

The IDA board visited Tupper Lake last summer to get a boat tour of the ACR site to get an idea for the layout.

But since then, nothing has been going on.

IDA Executive Director John Tubbs told me that he has "nothing to report (unfortunately)."

The developers told him that the focus will turn to the PILOT and bonding arrangements they are trying to negotiate when the Article 78 is wrapped up.

Tubbs said he doesn't expect any activity until then.
