Carpenter pleased with Assembly results

Plattsburgh City Councilman Tim Carpenter, the Democrat who came in second in the race for New York's 115th Assembly District, says he's pleased with his performance.

"The results speak for themselves," Carpenter said in an email this morning. "The voters wanted Janet back. Congratulations to her."

Carpenter, who works as a correction officer in Malone, says he's happy with how he ran his race.

"Thank you to all my supporters," he said. "This has been a great learning experience."
