| | ACR story from SyracuseSeptember 3, 2012 - Jessica CollierCheck out this story on the ACR in Syracuse's Post-Standard. (well, I saw it on their website. I assume it was in the paper too, but maybe not?) It's a nice overview of the whole situation as it stands right now. I like it when people do these overviews, because it puts everything in perspective, which is easy to lose when you're focusing on all the ins and outs in minute detail. I had known this was coming, but I had actually forgotten about it. I think the last thing I heard was more than a month ago. It must have taken a while to track down everyone involved. Interesting that he started and ended with Phyllis Thompson. What a character to paint a picture with. Also, I thought this was an interesting quote from Jack Delehanty: “I think we have a governor who wants to be president of the United States,” he said. “I think he (Gov. Cuomo) wishes —and for politically motivated reasons — to be portrayed as ‘pro-business, pro-jobs and pro-development.’ And right now, the APA has become a chamber of commerce.” What do you guys think? Is it a good overview of the situation? Is it biased? Is it missing the point? Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | in: News, Blogs & Events Web |
