Doheny wins, ready to take on Owens
June 26, 2012 - Chris Morris
Matt Doheny beat Kellie Greene in Tuesday’s congressional primary to earn the Republican line in this fall’s race for New York’s new 21st Congressional District.
Doheny, a businessman from Watertown and former Wall Street financier, bested Greene by a nearly three-to-one margin. In his victory speech, he thanked his campaign staff and volunteers, as well as the voters across the North Country.
Doheny will appear on the Republican, Conservative and Independence lines this fall.
I'll have more on this story soon.
