Some Albany coverage of the challenge

March 30, 2012 - Jessica Collier
Susan Arbetter of WCNY's The Capitol Pressroom gave some time Thursday to Bob Glennon and Charlie Morrison (from the Sierra Club) to talk about the challenge today.

Listen to it here. Their section starts at about the 38:20 mark, after a bunch of state budget talk.

Don't worry, Jim LaValley already gave Arbetter his phone number in a comment on their blog. I'm sure they'll do a follow up with response sometime soon.

I like how Arbetter refers to the project a few times: “It’s quite a thing up in Tupper Lake,” and “a big resort, club, living facility, lots of acreage resort, sort of investment-thing up in the town of Tupper Lake.” That's better than the rambling I do when I get on the air, I just thought it was funny.

Also, here's a story that appeared recently in the Legislative Gazette, the newspaper for people who are focused on state government activity in New York.

There were also a few stories in the Albany Times Union last week, which you can read here (Largest-ever Adirondack Park project draws lawsuit) and here (Lawsuit challenges NY approval of resort project). Oh, after looking them over more closely, I just realized that second one is just them running the Associated Press coverage. That's worth taking a look at though. Especially because it makes reference to the Enterprise. :)
